Banda Corrida is a documentary portrait on the relationship between intimacy and labor. It documents the transportation of frozen products between Buenos Aires and Patagonia by a professional truck driver revealing hidden parts of the consumption chain. The road-movie reflects on the idea of survival in a present that asks us to urgently rethink new ways of use and investment of our natural and human resources. Banda Corrida explores the dual nature of documentary film as a speculative fictitious tool on portrait, intimacy, labor, time and space reveiling the large-scale infrastructure behind consumption.
