It is about works that construct an universe which could exists both at the beginning and at the end. For moments she gives a gaze from a distopic future, which already stands out in the present. She is an archaeologist who unravels the stored secrets of a planet on the verge of extinction, collecting fragments and submiting them under sensitive and precise operations of observation. A living character modeling clay on one screen and plaster sculptures of the collection of copies of antiques (Abguss Sammlung Antiker Plastik) of Berlin on the other screen, activates not only an interplay of hierarchies within geopolitical colonial history, but also an interrogation on the cinematic dispositif&nbsp;itself as a staging apparatus. The idea of reproduction and multiplicity present not only in traditional sculpture, in the collection itself, and in the cinematic space, explores the relationship between artisanal and industrial modes of production, as well as the intra-actions between the real, the copy, the viewers, and representation. The billboard was partly damaged by winds and storms. Its structure in plain collapse still resisting had frozen the time exactly in the moment inbetween the fall and the resistance. The suburbian area of Buenos Aires as an abandoned or deteriorated area, in regards to the city center, is here used as the aestheticization of failure. The dimensions of the object and, more significantly, the apparent lack of practical purpose to carry out such an endeavour (which meant a serious mobilisation of logistic resources as well as contemplating all the requirements of the museums’s security departments) encountered multiple bureaucratic resistances. The content of the work turned out to be the disclosure of a network of laws and regulations that determine the possibilities of action in our everyday experience of art and its institutions. The project was supported by Young Art Biennial of Buenos Aires 2013. KM 53 consiste en trasladar un cartel publicitario en pleno colapso ubicado en el km 53 de la Ruta 2 de Buenos Aires, y emplazarlo en un nuevo contexto. El cartel parcialmente deformado y arruinado debido a la exposición a intensos vientos, propone una imágen que existe entre la derrota y la resistencia. El área suburbana de Buenos Aires comoespacio abandonado o deteriorado, en relación al centro de la ciudad, es concebido en éste proyecto como la estetización del fracaso. Las dimensiones del cartel, y especialmente la supuesta falta de recursos y fuentes prácticas para llevar a cabo un desplazamiento del tal envergadura, manifiesta las tantas resistencias bruocráticas que se presentaron durante la gestión de su nuevo emplazamiento. El contenido del trabajo devino en la revelación de un sistema de leyes y regulaciones que determinan las posibilidades de acción en la experiencia cotidiana del arte y sus instituciones.
